Confirm the exact panel, not just the screen size
A 100-inch class description is not a design dimension. The buyer should confirm the manufacturer, exact model number and revision, then supply measured overall width, height and depth in the intended transport configuration. The record should also show protruding feet, handles, controls, sensors and the deepest connector or cable arrangement. If a stand, camera, soundbar or other item will be removed, list its packed location separately instead of blending it into the panel dimensions.
Photos should identify every measurement point and the screen face, rear and lower edge. The buyer also needs to mark permitted support zones and no-contact areas; these are project inputs, not details a case supplier should infer from a catalogue image. Any change of panel model or installed accessory should trigger a dimensional review before the drawing is approved.
Survey every doorway, lift and loading transfer
A case that fits the display can still fail at the venue. Before confirming the external envelope, the buyer should provide the narrowest clear width and height along the full route: storage door, corridor turn, goods-lift entrance and cabin, ramp or dock, vehicle opening and any threshold. Measure clear openings with doors and protective rails in their working positions, and flag slopes, steps, low ceilings and turns where the loaded case cannot be rotated freely.
Record who moves the case, where direction changes occur and whether a level loading surface or lifting equipment is available. Compare the proposed case drawing with the smallest route constraint and the intended vehicle space. These route values are buyer-confirmed inputs; without them, external dimensions and handling access remain provisional.
Define upright handling and accessory choices
The buyer should confirm whether the panel must remain upright through packing, transport, temporary storage and removal, and identify the approved screen-facing direction. Write the handling sequence from opening the case to securing the panel, closing it, moving it through each transfer and unloading it. Include the number of handlers, grip locations, lid parking space and any point where the case may need to pause or change direction; the design review can then check that the workflow does not require an unapproved tilt or unsupported lift.
Connector access, stand storage and accessory compartments are options that require buyer decisions. Supply connector locations, plug dimensions and cable exit direction; identify whether a stand travels assembled or dismantled; and list remotes, control boxes, brackets, cables and tools with quantities and measured sizes. The final arrangement should be approved against this packing list. Materials, load ratings, certifications, test results and performance limits must be specified and evidenced separately rather than assumed from this procurement guide.
